Laura & Jimmy's Carrickdale Hotel Wedding

I’m afraid the blog has been rather neglected over the past while but with the wedding season starting to slowly wind down hopefully I’ll discover a few more hours in the day to get back to posting. For today, heres just a snippet to keep you going from Laura & Jimmy’s wonderful wedding recently celebrated in St Patricks Church, Dundalk and then on to the Carrickdale Hotel. I had to find time to squeeze them in as they were a fantastic couple, completely laid back and unassuming and with eyelashes like Laura’s fluttering under a gorgeous fascinator she deserved to skip the queue!Laura & Jimmy St Patricks Dundalk, Carrickdale HotelLaura & Jimmy St Patricks Dundalk, Carrickdale HotelLaura & Jimmy St Patricks Dundalk, Carrickdale HotelLaura & Jimmy St Patricks Dundalk, Carrickdale HotelLaura & Jimmy St Patricks Dundalk, Carrickdale Hotel

Published: Ciara & Paul's Carrickdale Hotel Wedding

If you haven’t already got your copy of this weeks Your Life section of The Argus newspaper grab it now and see Ciara & Paul’s Carrickdale wedding.

They were married on a wet and blustery day in June but thankfully Ciara had a plan b in case of bad weather. She works in the Serenity Spa in the Carrickdale Hotel so had ok’d it with the girls before hand to use the sauna/steam rooms if there weren’t any clients booked in. While it was cold and wet outside we were sweltering in the heat and loving every minute! Here’s a peek at some of their highlights..

Grainne & Damien's Cabra Castle Wedding

I’d always heard the saying that one wedding leads to another but Grainne & Damien are the first couple I’ve ever worked with who actually met at a wedding, mind you it did take a while to get around to having their own but it was worth it in the end!

Grainne by nature is a very organised person so it was a given that the day would run smoothly and with an (almost) 1 year old to get ready it meant there was no time to even think about panicing or getting stressed. The atmosphere in the McCourt house was so relaxed, Grandad was giving Adam photography lessons and there was even a laptop being passed from room to room so Grainne’s Aunt in Australia could watch the goings on via Skype.

Their very handsome son Adam was quiet as a mouse throughout the ceremony – I think he was mesmerized by the gospel choir and was considerate enough to nap, wake and smile on cue- who could ask for more?

Despite the weather they both beamed throughout the day and were still laughing as they dodged the puddles under a brollly with just enough time for a quick hello to Oscar, Cabra’s famous welcoming party. I hope you both enjoyed your day as much as I enjoyed working with you both, congratulations!

Ceremony: Redemptorist Chapel, Dundlak
