Jen & Craig's Blackrock & Slane Castle Wedding

Jen & Craig should be an inspiration to all the aspiring wedding planners out there, with an entire wedding booked and organised within 5 months, I’d say that’s pretty good going. They’re a couple who know exactly what they want and have a wonderful way of communicating it in an effortless way that makes everyone around them feel very relaxed, so much so that I’m sure most people had no idea of the work that they both had put into it behind the scenes.

Jen spent the days up to the wedding baking and icing everyone’s names on their individual cookies, this I might add was only after herself and Craig’s Mum had finished   making the wedding cake. The last remaining dairy milk bar in the kitchen was the only hint to all the work that had been going on.  Jen’s Dad is a bit of a car enthusiast so it was no surprise that he was to be found with a chamois in hand that morning before he chauffeured her to the chapel in his own 1970’s NCS Ro80. What was more surprising was seeing him in the kitchen, drill in hand, making a new hole in his belt while the family cat watched on!

Obviously they are a much loved couple with guests having travelled from all over the country and abroad and the tone of the day was very much about spending time with friends and relations, there was just a very quick stop off at Blackrock beach for some photos before meeting up with everyone in the beautiful setting of Slane Castle in Co Meath.

I’m delighted their day went so well for them, it really goes to show with the right outlook a fantastic wedding can be organised in a very short space of time with as little stress as possible. I hope after your exciting Rocky Mountain adventure you both have a lovely relaxing time in Vancouver, it’s well deserved!
