Privacy policy
Before I begin can I just start by saying I do take the whole GDPR thing very seriously, I am the ultimate private person (you’ll find it difficult to find details about me floating around cyberspace) and totally understand the need for this but equally I’d prefer have root canal than have to read everyones full length privacy policy so for those of you like myself heres the short and sweet version.
If you have a burning need to go over it in detail theres also a full length version – make sure you’ve got time to kill.
The short version
I, Lisa McCormack am the data protection representative of Lisa McCormack Photography, Main Street, Blackrock, Co Louth, contactable at lisa@lisamccormack.ie
I will only use your information to either respond to your enquiry or in order to fulfil our contract should you engage my services, full stop. I wont collect any unnecessary data from you other than what I need to do my job, I don’t keep a database and I wont try to market to you in the future – I repeatedly tell people I’m the worlds worst sales person and I still use a paper diary and an inky pen to jot notes, I know what you’re thinking and yes I too am convinced I’m part dinosaur.
I do however reserve the right to contact previous clients who have yet to fulfil their orders so I can get them off the system before my computer groans and falls over with the amount of archived files I have – sometimes this is just the kick up the behind people need to actually get around to tying up those loose ends.
Depending on the service you’re contracting me to do I may need such information as your address/location of event if I’ve to travel there, a phone number to ring in case I get into a fight with my sat nav, ages of children involved in the shoot so I can caffeine up appropriately to deal with energetic threenagers or dial down the cluckiness factor with newborns, names of family members so I’m not calling everyone Mum or groomsman and other suppliers involved so I can breathe a sigh of relief that you haven’t booked a videographer who’s going to stand on me all day – don’t ask.
Anyway, that is the summary, if you’re still reading this and want to read more knock your socks off.
Slightly longer version
