Aileen & Ciaran's Nuremore Hotel Wedding

If I don’t get my skates on this couple will be a family of three so just before their lives change in every way known to man and they actually still have five minutes to themselves to read a blogpost here is a glimpse into Aileen and Ciarans wonderful day way back when. From scrabble to ice-cream vans and VW campers a common theme revealed itself over the day and I was left in no doubt that this was a couple who love to have fun and don’t take themselves too seriously. If a 99 with strawberry syrup doesn’t put a smile on everyones face I don’t know what will, sorry this has taken so long guys I hope you enjoy looking back on this as much as I enjoyed spending the day with you both. Best of luck when the stork arrives in the New Year!Nuremore Hotelblog01 Nuremore Hotelblog02 Nuremore Hotelblog03 Nuremore Hotelblog04 Nuremore Hotelblog05 Nuremore Hotelblog06 Nuremore Hotelblog07 Nuremore Hotelblog08 Nuremore Hotelblog09 Nuremore Hotelblog10 Nuremore Hotelblog11 Nuremore Hotelblog12 Nuremore Hotelblog13 Nuremore Hotelblog14 Nuremore Hotelblog15 Nuremore Hotelblog16 Nuremore Hotelblog17 Nuremore Hotelblog18 Nuremore Hotelblog19 Nuremore Hotelblog20 Nuremore Hotelblog21 Nuremore Hotelblog22 Nuremore Hotelblog23 Nuremore Hotelblog24 Nuremore Hotelblog25 Nuremore Hotelblog26 Nuremore Hotelblog27 Nuremore Hotelblog28 Nuremore Hotelblog29 Nuremore Hotelblog30 Nuremore Hotelblog31 Nuremore Hotelblog32 Nuremore Hotelblog33 Nuremore Hotelblog34 Nuremore Hotelblog35 Nuremore Hotelblog36 Nuremore Hotelblog37 Nuremore Hotelblog39 Nuremore Hotelblog40 Nuremore Hotelblog41 Nuremore Hotelblog42

Caitriona & Colin, Bellingham Castle Wedding

I’m delighted to share the gorgeous wedding of Caitriona & Colin in the majestic surroundings of Monaghan Cathedral ( quick tip, hang onto your veil at the breezy hilltop!) and the equally magical surroundings of Bellingham Castle. They wanted to keep things nice and relaxed so they could just get on with enjoying everything and with groomsmen who were even giddier than the bridesmaids they laughed and smiled their way through the day.  Colins Aunt was in charge of the delicious nibbles in the kitchen so a big shout out to Dinkins bakery for the mouth watering caca mills. Thanks so much for inviting me to share your day guys!C&Cblog01  C&Cblog02 C&Cblog03 C&Cblog04 C&Cblog05 C&Cblog06 C&Cblog07 C&Cblog08 C&Cblog09 C&Cblog10 C&Cblog11 C&Cblog12 C&Cblog13 C&Cblog14 C&Cblog15 C&Cblog16 C&Cblog17 C&Cblog18 C&Cblog19 C&Cblog20 C&Cblog21 C&Cblog22 C&Cblog23 C&Cblog24 C&Cblog25 C&Cblog26 C&Cblog27 C&Cblog28 C&Cblog29 C&Cblog30 C&Cblog31 C&Cblog32 C&Cblog33 C&Cblog34 C&Cblog35 C&Cblog36 C&Cblog37 C&Cblog38

Sarah & Conor's Kilmore Wedding

It would be impossible not to have fun with the Gallaghers. Between singing, dancing and photobombing, it was a day filled with laughter and that was only getting ready in Sarahs house. You know one of those houses where the back door is used rather than the front one and you can’t possibly pass through the kitchen without getting offered a cup of tea at least twice by every person in the room, well thats the sort of day it was.

Sarah is a planner. Her invites, her table plan, her colour palette, gloves or no gloves, every tiny little detail got undivided attention and so with all the hard work done it was party time on a sunny day in Kilmore. It would be easy to say Conor and the boys basically just had to show up and look good but I’ve a feeling beneath the swan like exterior of calm and grace perhaps he was pedalling 90 under the water and had quite a lot to do with how seamless the day went. They were one of the funniest couples I’ve ever worked with, you’d need a quick wit to keep up, so for every photo of them smiling you can be pretty sure I’m trying to keep the camera steady and not get motion blur from belly laughing. Thank you both so much for inviting me to be part of your celebration , I hope you have many more days of sun and giggles. Oh and a final shout out to Sarahs Mum for the awesomesaucesome cake!S&Cblog01

Anna & David Killenard Wedding

It was a privilege to witness Anna & David’s wedding in Killenard.  Although they hail from Dublin and Kerry they choose neutral ground in Laois for their setting ( Can you imagine their living room when the football is on??) and they couldn’t have chosen a more suitable setting.  The church was very special, not only was it a beautiful intimate country chapel but it is also right next door to where Anna’s Granny used to live and where her Grandparents also celebrated their wedding so it was wonderful to see them sit side by side watching their granddaughter do the same on another sunny day. The day flowed effortlessly thanks to Anna’s fantastic planning and it was a joy to work with a couple that just soaked it up and clearly enjoyed every minute. After the ceremony we headed to the nearby Emo House for some portraits before heading back to the Heritage Hotel where the party began.
