Deborah & Laurence’s Wedding, Ravensdale, Co Louth
I knew when I walked in Deborah’s driveway and found her with a mug of tea in hand laughing and helping the boys put ribbons on cars that it was going to be a good day. She started as she meant to go on, relaxed and taking it all in her stride. I couldn’t believe it when she told me the absolutely gorgeous vintage car was actually her Dad’s pride and joy, and he had been very busy polishing and buffing over the previous days. Luckily the weather was on our side and we got the roof down for a few shots. As she predicted she was the calm one but when I met Laurence and the boys at Ravensdale Church he was making a very good job of looking relaxed and in control and the only give away was the very shaky lighting of the candles! They chose the gorgeous Ballymascanlon House Hotel as their venue and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to work in the lovely grounds. The craic was 90 with their videographer Gerry Duffy who hopefully did plenty of editing afterwards and I’m told the celebrations went on into the early hours of the morning. A huge congratulations to Deborah and Laurence, a super fun couple to work with!
